2nd STAGE GIRO DONNE “VILLASIMIUS – TORTOLÌ”

After the “Cagliari-Cagliari” individual time trial which saw the victory of Kristen Faulkner (TEAM BIKEEXCHANGE – JAYCO) the new Pink Jersey / UNHCR, Giro Donne continues in Sardinia on this day of Friday 1st July with the “Villasimius - Tortolì” stage.

1st STAGE GIRO DONNE “CAGLIARI – CAGLIARI”

The 2022 edition of Giro Donne kicks off at 12.50 pm on Thursday 30th June with the “Cagliari-Cagliari” stage, an individual time trial revolving around a 4.75-km long urban circuit. The 144 athletes will start one by one with a one-minute interval between each other, while the last 10 athletes will have a two-minute interval between each other.

Traveling Italy by bicycle is one of the best ways to get to know it and during the nine days of competition the athletes will travel through Tuscany, Emilia Romagna, Piemonte, Liguria and Sardegna.
