The 113.4-km long trial, after 7 hairpin turns from Cala Gonone to the kilometre 0 in Dorgali, kicks-off at full-speed at h 10:45 am with a 21.3 km downward slope beginning at 449 m altitude and ending in Orosei at 36 m above sea level. DORGALI (CALA GONONE) (NU), 8,401 inhabitants

Dorgali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Nuoro area and throughout Sardinia. Its naturalistic patrimony encompasses about 225 square kilometres of wild mountains, enchanting shorelines and legendary archaeological areas. A fascinating and sinuous slope leads to the village of Cala Gonone, especially appreciated by thousands of visitors who are passionate about hiking, cycling, free climbing, diving, kayaking and other adventures into the wild. Cala Gonone’s seashore is a great starting point to discover the splendour of the Gulf of Orosei, famous for its rocky walls overlooking crystal-clear waters hiding inlets and coves of rare beauty.

OLBIA (SS), 62,276 inhabitants

Olbia overlooks its spectacular gulf dominated by the Tavolara island and it is the main tourist point of arrival in northern Sardinia. With its port and international airport, its landscape and naturalistic beauties of the territory, its history and traditions, its offer of active tourism, Olbia is a modern and ancient city at the same time, a great setting for unforgettable experiences. Tourism is in fact growing thanks to many interventions: the restyling of the seashore promenade, new green areas and the promotion of active mobility. All these initiatives turned Olbia into a destination revolving around the individual, in a context where the quality of life improves constantly.
