Seventh stage of Giro d’Italia Donne 2021: Soprazocco di Gavardo – Puegnago del Garda

After the Colico-Colico stage won by Emma Norsgaard (MOVISTAR TEAM WOMEN), today, Thursday 8 July, at 12.15 pm the Soprazocco di Gavardo – Puegnago del Garda stage starts, the seventh of the Giro d’Italia Donne that concludes the competition in Lombardy and which includes 110 km in the province of Brescia, starting at an altitude of 272 m on the morainic hills west of Lake Garda and continuing in the direction of Benaco.

In Polpenazze sul Garda, the athletes begin a loop that they will have to run five times and that goes in Manerba del Garda, the intermediate sprint of the race, San Felice del Benaco and Puegnago del Garda, the finish line of the circuit; the route is worth 5 GPM – third category Mountains Grand Prix. The estimated time of arrival is 3.08 pm.

At the starting line there are 120 athletes, the ones who decided to pull out of the race are: Andrea RAMÍREZ FREGOSO (AR MONEX WOMEN’S PRO CYCLING TEAM), Emilie FORTIN and Lucia GONZALEZ BLANCO (BIZKAIA – DURANGO), Danique BRAAM (LOTTO SOUDAL LADIES) and Francesca BARONI (ISOLMANT – PREMAC – VITTORIA).

The 7th stage can be seen on TV today, Thursday 8 July on Rai Sport HD, at 8.15 pm with the best of the stage in 50’, available also on RaiPlay, and on Rai2 with a summary during Tour Replay. Tomorrow, Friday 9 July on Eurosport 1, recorded broadcast at 10 am.
