An edition full of partners and collaborations

This edition of Women’s Giro Donne will be full of prestigious commercial and institutional collaborations. For the third consecutive year, the race is organized by Starlight ASD, in partnership with Federciclsmo (FCI) and UCI.

From 30 June to 9 July 24 formations, including 14 belonging to the World Tour category, will battle each other during 9 stages on the roads of a fascinating route through Tuscany, Emilia Romagna, Piedmont, Liguria and Sardinia for a total of approximately 930 km with the goal of winning one of the coveted category jerseys.

These jerseys, standing out for their high quality and great design, are once again made by Gobik, a Spanish company specializing in cycling clothing and accessories, who confirms its technical partnership with Giro Donne.

The pink jersey, the most prestigious in the entire competition, is to be awarded to the leader of the overall ranking. This year, the jersey is associated with the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI) which intends to make best use of Giro Donne’s great media potential for the promotion of the Italian women’s cycling scene.
The Pink jersey has been won in the last three editions by two formidable Dutch athletes:

  • 2020 Anna van der Breggen
  • 2021 Anna van der Breggen

The Cyclamen Jersey, assigned to the leader of the general point-based ranking, this year will be in association with Ferrovie dello Stato (Italian State Railways), a brand increasingly oriented to a positioning based on sustainability and smart mobility.
